Some of my recent work!

Here is some of my most recent artwork from uni and personal bits and bobs,
I was quite interested in a project to create a narrative based on song lyrics, i chose "And if you go chasing rabbits, and you know your'e going to fall."
I created 8 sequential images for that involving a humanized bunny, and you as the reader chasing the bunny through different environments.
I got the idea for the humanized bunny from Batman comics- a character named the "white rabbit". I decided to take that idea and create my personal view on it.

The other images I've posted are just images I've made at home in personal time.

A few portraits :)

Something i haven't done in quite a while, but i would love to get back into doing is portraiture, iv'e previously created commissions for people but my pieces never really got that much attention in a financial aspect.
I created quite a few for free at first to get more followers and interest, however once i began to try to sell them, people began to wander away...
So anyway, here's a few examples of some portraits iv'e created over the past few years from college, personal work and commissions (my personal favourite the bob marley one at the bottom :) ):

Zenobia...

Looking into the invisible city of Zenobia, for a uni project, i didn't really take to this project at first, i'm not very into creating imagery for buildings or cities as such, but so far im pretty content with some of the images i have created to gain ideas for my final pieces.
Some of my images:

Max gregor

Max gregor is a great illustrator, who i found whilst searching for fashion illustrations on the web.
At the time i was looking for something a bit different, something that stood out compared to your average fashion design, and max's work stood out like a sore thumb, his artwork is beautifully produced with blasts of colour, including traditional drawing sketches also.
I can imagine for most of his pieces he looked into popular culture, obviously fashion and studying possibly portraiture and personalities.
He has worked with media such as digital imagery, traditional illustration/drawing and murals/graffiti.

Patrick Auletto

I find Patrick Auletto's work really inspiring, its just so colourful and alternative.
I came across him a while back when doing college research, honestly cant remember where i first found him but as soon as i took a look at his work i was immediately inspired.

Infact one of his pieces, inspired my first tattoo. He created some bottles pouring pink liquid, and they have skull images on them, i loved the idea of a bottle that poured flames or liquid out in such a visual sense, that i began to design my own style.
His work as far as i know is digital based, one day i would like to possibly progress into working digitally with my own work and create really cool images as easily as he seems to do, his work is just pretty impressive!

Chris King

Even though im not particularly into digital design, Chris King's work (who i spotted via illustrationweb), Is very impressive i found.
I like the bold character creation he sets, the images are very similar to comic books and graphic novels, which i have always found quite interesting for their artwork aspects, and very inspiring towards my own style of work.

His work is very modern, and illustrative. He tends to use a lot of pinks and purples in some of his pieces, which i also quite like, i find it makes certain images stand out great!

Some of my recent arty bits...

So heres a few pics of recent arty moments including some uni work and my personal designs from drawing at home :) hope you like them!

Funns

I recommend the artist who names his business "funns" real name: Ziggy Hill, He creates cute little abnormal characters, such as animals or monsters but drawn or painted in just unusual ways, they almost look like childrens art pieces- as if a child had drawn them, but they have just a cute sense of style!
He prints them onto tshirts/clothing, cards and also has framed pieces on his shop available which is quite handy :)
